A bit about me
My work is inspired by my everyday life and the simple things that surround me. I take pictures in order to document life, to understand it and understand myself.
I am often drawn to a scene not knowing why; It is later, when I look at all the pictures of a period that I can begin to grasp why I might have taken them.
Traditional analog photography suits well a slower creative process, such as mine – sometimes I take a picture and I don’t get to see it for months; sometimes I discover images I had completely forgotten; other times I perfectly remember a certain scene I photographed and I can’t wait to finish the film roll, develop it and see the result.
It is but because of this longing and mistery, this game of imagination that I still feel drawn to photograph in such a photographed world.
